  We couldn’t be any happier with the service provided by RHV. We extended our living room and added a covered patio. The process starting from the estimate, planning, construction, and post-construction was handled professionally and with care. Vince was very patient and detailed with the estimate. He came to our house multiple times to answer our questions, responded quickly, and most importantly didn’t hassle us to make any decisions we weren’t ready to make. We had our first estimate in October 2020, and gave the ok in April 2021..with multiple visits in between to update the estimate based on our many changes. Vince was awesome throughout. The planning and construction phase was no different. The handoff between Vince and Ricky was seamless. Ricky and crew was amazing throughout…professional, timely, honest, open, and always available. He attended to all my concerns, and made us feel comfortable through the entire process. A few things I was impressed about..1) thinking on his feet - Ricky rearranged our plans due to the rain and the delivery times for materials. We stayed on schedule and on track to finish so that we could enjoy our new space during the summer. 2) He strived for perfection - they re-did our concrete pour at no additional cost because of cracking due to the heat and quick drying. He addressed some other issues with our HVAC after having to move our ducts around to accommodate our plans, and even fixed up some of my DIY projects lol. 3) he listened to every change request and accommodated with reason. 4) We stayed on track with our original estimate even despite drawing up the estimate before the increase lumber costs. RHV stayed true to their word and didn’t increase our estimate other than our own change orders in the middle of the process. RHV’s crew was respectful, was on time, worked diligently through the heat, kept the workplace safe for my family, and did an absolutely amazing job. After construction, Ricky has been respondent to any other concerns we noticed from fixing gutters to getting our landscape right to avoid water puddling. I was always worried about the “nightmare renovations”, but this whole process ended up being one of best experiences we’ve had with service providers.   My first experience with RHV was my kitchen renovation done in the early summer of this year. From the first contact with Aaron coming to do an estimate, to the final end result, I was impressed with the knowledge and skill of everyone who worked on the project. Ricky did a fantastic job as “hand holder”, explaining the process, ensuring the final product met my high standards, and coordinating all the moving parts - from demolition to plumber to electrician to installers. I had everything replaced - the counter tops, the cabinets, and also the serving hatch and the old wood paneling replaced with sheet rock to create a place to hang my tv. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone I had contact with from this company, but especially Jose, who’s work ethic and skill is especially appreciated by me. Fast forward to the middle of summer. It was time to get my bathrooms gutted and replaced. I didn’t look anywhere else but RHV Construction. Not only was I impressed with their professionalism, but this time I needed somebody I could trust to be there while I moved out of the house because the water had to be switched off. I didn’t hesitate to contact Ricky again. The work couldn’t have gone smoother. The team worked hard to make sure the job completed on time and to my satisfaction. Finally, this past week, the flooring was replaced. Although I had a big name company originally slated to do the work, I have been so impressed with RHV that I contracted them to do the job instead. The floors look amazing, and I am just so pleased with the transition from the tile to LVP. I can honestly say that I am sorry that my renovation journey has ended for the time being. However, when I am ready to get the plywood walls (yes, you read that correctly!) in the bedroom replaced, I will for sure contact Ricky because you can tell the company strives for excellence and it is greatly appreciated by me. I hope the photos I have shared do justice to the beauty of the work they have done. They accommodated my crazy work schedule and did everything possible to deliver high quality. Finally, I was pleasantly surprised with how Ricky ensured the team went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure everything was perfect.   We've had our dealings with poor contractor/contractor communication in the past so, we were hesitant up front about needing a contractor again. We were recommended RHV and we were very pleased. They had great communication regarding cost and timeline, open to questions without hesitation and were very pleasant to work with. They work was completed ahead of schedule and was quality work. Clean up crew was very efficient as well. Would use them again. (We had flooring replaced and cabinet repair due to water damage/insurance claim and added, as our decision, had them paint the main living spaces of the home, including ceilings.) report abuse

  After meeting with 4 other contractors, I decided to go with RHV Construction. They provided the best feedback and recommendation when going through the scope of the project and helped with further investigation with water penetration issues that I was dealing with. Ricky and Hanson were both easy to communicate with and the project was completed within the allotted schedule. All in all the final deliverable turned out exactly how I envisioned it.   I decided to finally to do the remodel I've always dreamed of, and WOW!! RHV Construction came through and blew my expectations away. About 16 months ago we started with the interior, pretty much a complete overhaul of the living room and kitchen. Walls came down and opened up so much space. I relied on Ricky a lot for the details, I got to do the fun stuff of picking colors, tile and flooring. Who knew that base board and door trim would such a difference? Then this summer I decided it was time for the outdoor space. Viola! A Patio that we'd always dreamed of. Even when we were still feeling this summer heat I was staying comfortable with the ceiling fans. I had a new driveway laid and walk ways around the front to the back. I even had a new shed ramp added. There were a few bumps along the way, weather didn't always work for the timeline but all in all I loved my experience with this company and would recommend them for any of your needs.   We’ve had RHV perform a kitchen and bath(s) makeover in our historic home and a total rework/buildout of our wine lounge @floydswinelounge. Both projects were completed early or on time, for a great price! They even travels from Houston to Brenham (TX) for both jobs. Great work and great people to work with! report abuse

  We were referred to Ricky to discuss our kitchen remodel. After several discussions, we made the decision to use him and have been happy thus far. Ricky was able to make suggestions on appliance placement and overall size of the island to allow for accessibility and the contractors we scheduled accordingly to begin their portion of the job, which made things fairly smooth. We began the remodel just before the pandemic in mid Dec. '20 and it took roughly two weeks from complete demo to finish. We didn't have a kitchen for Christmas, but we expected that and people are always amazed that our kitchen took 16 days. As you can see from the before and after, I would and already have used Ricky again. report abuse

  BEAUTIFUL WORK! Everything was done timely and the work is fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about RHV. I have been recommending them to everyone we know. Ricky’s communication and responsiveness is AMAZING, he always kept us in the loop and he never takes long to respond. I wonder if he gets any sleep at night! Our entire first floor flooded due to the Winter Storm and they came in and made everything 10x better! They have an amazing team and I am so thankful we found them. We have received so many compliments on our kitchen from family and friends. Overall, we enjoyed working with them and we are definitely using them for future projects! report abuse

  I can’t say enough amazing things about RHV Construction! Truly they have been incredible to work with as I’ve made improvements on my 25 year old home. Ricky, Hanson and Vincent each helped me take on these projects, from engineering, design, logistics and then execution of construction. As someone who has had incredibly terrible experiences with contractors, I cannot say or sing enough praise for this company. I’m aware I can be a tad high maintenance and slightly aloof when it comes to outdoor projects (?) but truly, they’ve helped been there for me every step of the way. I highly recommend using them for pretty much anything you want remodeled in your home. They’ve done my bathroom, daughters bedroom, guest bedroom and currently wrapping up my patio. @rhv_construction we have so many projects left but I truly appreciate you all! report abuse

  RHV Construction is my TOP choice for professional contractors when I need some help with remodeling ideas. Ricky and his team are true professionals that take time to hear what the customer wants/needs and then brings forward a masterpiece when the project is done.
