  We had an emergency needing to get an expert independent opinion on engineer inspection of the significant wood rot situation at our house. Gary was recommended by my lawyer as a professional who is not only through in their job but will provide professional advice on how to remedy the situation. True to what my lawyer said, Gary shows up quickly understanding our urgency, completed the job with a professional and detailed report highlighting all the deficiencies of the existing home conditions. It appears that he is also well known amongst the trade for the high quality work and is a trusted advisor.   Eco-Holdings designed the foundation and framing for house we are planning to build. They did an outstanding job! Gary and his team were very thorough with the details and patient with our questions, reviewing our every concern and explaining why they recommended what they did. The engineering and plans they provided exceeded my expectations and I would recommend anyone designing/building their own home to contact Gary and his team, they will make sure your house is built on a solid foundation. My floor plan designer did a poor job, but Gary's team provided improvements that my designer didn't provide or suggest. The deliverables that Gary's team provided were excellent! Thanks to Gary and his team for an excellent job, I look forward to having my house built knowing that the foundation and framing is solid. report abuse

  Was referred by George Gazis, contractor. Gary did a very thorough job. Met with us at our flooded house, looked at all field conditions, took measurements, hypothesized the best solution for some structure modifications, and then went back to his office to determine the structural calculations for the best fit. We timely received the stamped plans and specs which allowed me to get the contractor to work on bidding the job. I am sure I will see Gary again once the contractor has everything exposed in the field for Gary to verify actual conditions and the beam has then been placed.   Hired Eco-Holdings to calculate a load bearing beam size for wall removal in my house. When the framer opened up the sheetrock to do the job they discovered the floor joists from the second story were running perpendicular to the new beam, it was assumed in the load calculations and sealed letter from Eco that they were running parallel. Spoke to Gary and stated that the framers were on site performing the work and needed to know if the beam size would still be correct ASAP knowing the floor joist assumption was incorrect. Was told he would get back to me later that day and when I didn't hear anything tried calling again but just got a response to send pictures. Sent pictures as requested and then got completely ignored to this day with no response given. Tried emailing, calling, and text messaging all of which were ignored. In the end had to go with the framers experience with this type of work for a solution. Once Eco gets your money and issues a letter you are dead to them don't expect any help if something comes up when the work is being performed. Noticed a response from the owner stating they talked to the framer and need to respond for clarification. It has been over a year since this review was written and the owner never to this day spoke to either me or the framer. Their response is an absolute lie. They ignored all calls, voicemails, emails, photos, etc and then took the time to post a lie in response to my review rather than contact me. They don't even know who the framer is so how would they even speak to him? report abuse

  Eco Holdings did a conveyance analysis for my home when my engineer couldn't produce one and it was approved by the city immediately as his plans were very thorough. report abuse
