  Capital had exactly what I needed at a better price than others. I was trying to decide between a couple similar items and after speaking with Jason I was able to make an educated decision on the right tool. I explained that I needed it right away and Jason went out of his way to ensure it shipped the same day. Will definitely be purchasing from them again in the future. report abuse

  Talked to them on the phone about a total station issue. They did not seem interested in talking on the phone and said I would have to bring it in and they would look at it while I was there. I drove over an hour just to get there and the guy in the store knows nothing about the equipment and wants me to just leave it there. They wasted half of my day. Will not attempt business with them again and would recommend not going there if you are looking for a knowledgeable person. My equipment was run of the mill stuff nothing strange. The owner replied with a lie, they offered for me to leave it with them for their service department to look at not for me to go to their service department. I even asked them on the phone the previous day what would be a good time to come in to ensure that there would be someone to help and they said "come in any time and we can set it up and take a look." The kid behind the counter did not have a clue and did not even attempt to open the case and look at the total station. Was I professional yes all the way up until I realized that they had wasted my time then I gathered my stuff and said "don't worry about it, I will just go to one of your competitors and give them my business. Capitals employee was not rude he just did not know anything. I discussed it with the next place and they informed me that anyone selling total stations should have been able to help me as it was a simple issue I went to Bayshore surveying equipment in deer park and they took care of me. I was in and out15 minutes and found the issue within 1 minute of turning the unit on and did not charge me a dime and were very friendly. My experience was what it was and I did not lie about anything so maybe the owner can say specifically what I lied about because they are now lying about me which further motivates me to make sure that people know how they conduct business. report abuse

  Dealt with Juan. He is very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and made sure my order was shipped out ASAP. Not to mention the Great pricing. I'm in California and ordered from Capital in Texas. Even with shipping costs, o still saved money. Even after UPS delayed my delivery because they damaged an accessory during transit, Juan immediately reached out to me and sent me a replacement. Will definitely be using Capital in the the future. This is how a business should be conducted. 5 stars for pricing, speed and overall customer service. Thank you again, Juan. report abuse

  Capital Surveying Supplies is one of my absolute favorite survey supply stores. They have a great selection and the staff is very knowledgeable. The real reason, though, is that they have a bowl of starbursts on the counter. report abuse

  This place is hands down the best place to go for Survey Supplies. When the other guys don't have what you need Capital needs to be your go to. I've been let down so many times by the other Survey Suppliers. It was a nice change of pace to see a company that actually keeps items in stock to sell you not just a Show Room full of things to show you. Y'all keep up the great work. report abuse

  I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered a Theodolite, paid in full. Waited a week to get a tracking number and when I didn't receive anything called to check the status of my order. I was told I would NOT be receiving my Theodolite, and I was charged for it. After further conversation I was told it was my fault for the issue and my responsibility to get refunded. Now I'm in deliberation with my bank over something that shouldn't even be an issue. Absolutely horrible service, on the front and tail end. Honestly the oddness of my conversations has me thinking this company doesn't actually exist and is just shamming people. BUYER BEWARE report abuse

  These guys at Capital are top tier , I’ve purchased all my equipment and the majority of my supplies here. These guys always take care of me , especially Joel who always goes out of his way to get me taken care of which speaks volumes when I drive from East of Willis . ?? … report abuse

  This was our first time ordering from this company as they had very competitive pricing. I ordered a product and when I received my order they had sent an upgraded version of the item. I called them as I thought this was a mistake with shipping. When I spoke to warehousing they said they did that in order to complete my order timely as they did not have the simpler version in stock. This customer service doesn't happen any longer and I just want to say I appreciate their generosity. Thank you! report abuse
