Tri Tech performed the property survey of my home for my purchase. The survey was paid for by the seller. Fast forward four years later, I request a CAD file of the same survey which had already been paid for/performed in the past and come to find out they want me to pay $150 for such document. This is their "company policy." They charged me $150 to go through their server and pull up a document that had already been completed...... I guess it's a quick way to make easy money for them. I can't see how finding this file and sending it to me could have taken any more than 5 minutes of anyone's time. After reading more of their RECENT reviews, it looks like I'm not the first person that thinks this "Policy" is absurd. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

We work with one of Tri-Techs builders. We have seen that their surveys are on point and always correct. We appreciate the communication and responsiveness we get from McKennzie. Great company and awesome people.

Whoever was driving your pickup truck along Sam Houston Tollway this afternoon is an irresponsible driver. You cut me off and you almost hit my car. I have it on dashcam. Your employee’s actions exemplify your company’s culture. Let me know when you want the dashcam footage even though I know you won’t do a thing.

Shame on this company. I had a client who purchased a survey years ago using this company and the client needed a copy, they wanted to charge my client $150.00 for a copy of a survey which they have already hired and paid Tri-Tech for. They had found the copy of the survey and was holding it until we paid $150.00. I spoke with Barbara and Rebecca Harvey and they were almost rude about the demand of the $150.00. So I located the Title Company who closed this deal and they sent us a copy for FREE! I will tell all my other Real Estate family how this company likes to prosper off GREED, they literally just slapped their clients in the face, and lost future business of other Real Estate Professionals. This company should be ashamed of their poor business practice, ashamed!!!

Much like a previous review said, this place cares nothing about the clients they serve and more so about nickel and dimming. I used Tri-Tech exclusively for my home build. 4 times to be exact. Meaning I paid them 4 separate times for different surveys. Land survey, Form Survey, Home Build Final Survey, and a complete survey with Home and Metal Shop. I’m now in the process of an extensive backyard renovation and it would be much easier to send my latest survey in PDF to contractors. I have my large sealed hard copies but scanning them proved difficult with all of the creases. I could not locate where they may have sent me a PDF version much like they did the rest of my surveys so I thought I’d see if they may have one on file. Simple enough right? They were happy to let me know they had found my survey in PDF but won’t release it to me unless I paid them $150. I was dumbfounded. While staring at my PDF survey, they tried to refer me to my home builder as if they had anything to do with this. I personally contracted them and I’m the one who paid them thousands, not my builder. I luckily ended up finding the PDF after searching through my spam. I will be needing another survey once this next project is completed and definitely won’t be using Tri-Tech based on principle alone. Such a sad way to treat loyal customers and they’re only losing money by trying to greedy.

I have paid survey from this company. The FFE (Finished Floor Elevation) is 101. I checked with multi-application of the FFE. The FFE should be 123. That means this paid survey has about -20.0% error. I ask him to correct this issue; they ask $350 to correct the paid survey
