  “Overall, we’re really happy with our new shower door! There was a small issue with the finish on the hardware initially, but the team handled it perfectly. I spoke with a wonderful representative who quickly got everything sorted out – they even sent someone back to replace the handle and hinges, and the new ones look fantastic.   “I’ve been a customer here since 1979, and I can honestly say they’ve always provided fantastic service. I don’t use glass regularly, but over the years they’ve handled everything from storm window repairs and custom mirror work to installing shower doors and even creating a unique clock crystal.   C&D did a fantastic job with my old storm window – they quickly took care of the damage, repaired the panel, and even installed it for me. I really appreciated their speed and the great service, plus they were really friendly people. I’d definitely use them again! report abuse

  I am incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. I placed a substantial order – over $1000 – back in mid-June with the expectation of receiving custom glass to enclose my porch before the winter. It’s now been 14 weeks, and we still haven’t seen a single piece of glass. Throughout this entire time, we were left in the dark; we had to constantly chase them for updates, and they never bothered to proactively communicate any delays. To add to the frustration, the owner blamed the delay on a “request” for tempered glass that we never even made – a requirement that was apparently included in an earlier contract. After a very stressful conversation, they’ve now canceled the order entirely, claiming a sudden “glass shortage,” and offered only a minimal refund without so much as an apology. It’s been a completely unacceptable and frustrating experience, with the owner consistently deflecting blame and refusing to take any responsibility for the significant delay and ultimately, the loss of our order. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience at C&D Glass Company. I’d give them zero stars if I could. I sent three large wall mirrors – each about 60 by 44 inches – to be cut, and the whole thing was a disaster. I specifically instructed the front desk lady and the gentleman who took the mirrors that they should only cut one side of each mirror to achieve the sizes of 35, 39, and 43 inches, leaving the other sides untouched. I even marked the mirrors to make it clear. However, the shop completely messed up, cutting all three mirrors into perfect squares. When I pointed out the error, an older woman in the shop was incredibly rude and refused to even discuss a refund for the $75 I paid for the cutting. She insisted the shop had done what I asked and aggressively told me to leave. It was completely unacceptable behavior. It seems there was a major communication breakdown – the front desk person only wrote the sizes on the order but didn't note that we wanted them cut on only one side. They had my contact information, but no one bothered to call and clarify. As a result, we now have to spend $500 to order entirely new mirrors, and I was deeply insulted by the way the older lady handled the situation. I strongly advise anyone considering using C&D Glass Company to be extremely cautious and aware of the potential for significant damage and poor customer service. report abuse

  I was really disappointed with my experience here. I brought in a large mirror needing repair, and the staff seemed uninterested in assisting me. They were quite abrupt and didn't offer much help. When I asked about the installation cost, I was told they were too busy until July, which felt like a dismissive response to my question. report abuse
