  “I’m incredibly frustrated with my experience. They needlessly pressured me into a welding job that actually damaged my dipnet, and for the money I paid, it was a complete waste. Honestly, I could have bought a much better tool – a drill press, for example – and done the job myself. But beyond the faulty service, the way Van immediately questioned my honesty was completely unacceptable and frankly, insulting. It’s motivated me to take legal action, which is a completely new experience for me. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a business.” report abuse

  “I was really impressed with this shop! I needed some custom work done on a pair of aluminum heatsinks – specifically, 20 6-32 holes drilled and tapped. They took the time to explain all my options, helped me develop a solid plan, and did a fantastic job, even better than I’d envisioned, and much faster than I anticipated considering my initial challenges.   “I was really disappointed with this service. I took my aluminum fenders in to be welded and was initially quoted 30 minutes of work for around $45, with a one-week turnaround. However, they took three weeks to complete the job and charged me $180 – which felt like a huge overcharge for what was essentially a quick job. The quality of the welds was also very poor, and frankly, it felt like they were just rushing it. I wouldn’t recommend this place.” report abuse

  “I had a steel sheet welded onto my motorcycle luggage rack at Superior Machine and Welding, and I couldn’t be happier with the work. Honestly, I was a little hesitant to have it done – the rack steel is pretty thin, and a botched weld would have been really costly.
