“Honestly, this is the best place I’ve found in Anchorage for sand and gravel – and their prices on driveway sand are really great!”

Seriously, avoid AS&G for sanding sand, especially in the winter. They sell just regular beach pebbles, and they don’t treat them to stop them from freezing. You’ll spend half your time stopping to manually break up the ice with your sander – I even ended up injuring my fingers doing it. It’s just not worth the hassle, so please don’t get your sand from them.
