  “Honestly, they’re the utility company I’m least worried about having to contact. Mistakes do happen, and our driver has made a few in the past, but they always take responsibility and fix things. I recently had a situation where my rolling cart was marked as completed incorrectly, but they quickly sent a driver back out the next day to correct it and even brought the cart back up to my driveway.   Simon was absolutely fantastic – he really went above and beyond to sort out a delivery issue I was having. There was a lot of confusion about getting an extra can delivered to my address, and Simon personally took care of everything, keeping me updated and answering all my questions patiently for days.   “I just wanted to say how fantastic Connor was! We had a situation where we needed to return our recycle bin and the main office was closed, and he handled everything so smoothly. Since he was the only one available, he completely took care of closing our account and services – it was incredibly quick and easy.   AK Waste has really stepped up their game – they’re doing a fantastic job, especially considering how challenging waste removal can be. The drivers are consistently friendly and a pleasure to work with, which is a huge plus when you’re dealing with a demanding job like this. report abuse

  “I’m so incredibly pleased with the service I’ve received! They’ve been fantastic at replacing damaged bins and went above and beyond by removing my old stickers and applying them to the new ones – all without me having to do anything.   “Initially, the service in Wasilla was great, but recently I’ve been really frustrated with the inconsistent trash pickup. I was told at the beginning that my trash needed to go out on Tuesday nights, and it hasn’t been collected in the last four weeks – completely unacceptable. Adding to that, I’ve had a terrible time trying to manage my bill online. The portal just doesn’t work; it’s a problem with Chrome, Explorer, and even on my phone. I even called to pay after hours, but kept getting a busy signal. It seems like they’re trying to manage their online reviews, because I’ve noticed a lot of extreme ratings – mostly just one or five stars. Honestly, with a company this size, you’d expect a wider range of opinions. Because of all this, I’m actually moving up my car trade-in date just so I can handle my own trash from now on.” report abuse
