  Overall, Grant Thompson Construction did a fantastic job transforming our kitchen and adding two bedrooms to our house – the craftsmanship, especially Chris’s custom island, was truly exceptional. Grant and Tina were wonderful to work with, always professional, courteous, and kept us well-informed throughout the entire process. However, we did experience some significant delays due to a high turnover of staff, which impacted the project timeline. While most of the subcontractors – the drywaller, painter, flooring installers, countertop specialists, and concrete crew – were excellent, we unfortunately had a very negative experience with Packerland Electric. Their numerous mistakes and repeated delays in ordering materials were incredibly frustrating and ultimately caused a substantial setback. Despite that one issue, we’re really pleased with the finished product and feel the cost was fair. report abuse

  Grant and his team did an absolutely incredible job transforming our kitchen and basement! They completely modernized our 1960s kitchen, removing everything from the old soffits and pocket doors to the outdated flooring and lighting. The detail they put into matching the original trim and stain throughout the house was fantastic. We also got beautiful new Cambria countertops and a fresh backsplash, and it really feels like a 21st-century space now. Then, they returned to tackle our basement, adding a second bathroom, a bedroom, and a fantastic rec-room with custom millwork by Chris. They even finished off the upstairs bathroom! Grant, Chris, and Dan were truly exceptional – they went above and beyond every step of the way, and I wholeheartedly recommend Grant Thompson Construction. report abuse

  “We’re absolutely thrilled with the work Grant Thompson Construction did for us. They tackled two pretty big projects – renovating the interior and completely redoing the exterior – at the same time, and we were really impressed with their professionalism from the start. Grant provided a detailed quote and a solid plan, and they stuck to it perfectly. The exterior work did run into a few unexpected challenges, as sometimes happens with older homes, but Grant and his team handled everything with such skill and ingenuity that we stayed on track and within budget. And the interior project, finishing our basement, was truly outstanding. Chris, the foreman, was a genius – he came up with really smart solutions to all the little problems that arose, and all the subcontractors – the drywall, plastering, painting, electrical, and flooring teams – were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and remarkably efficient.   Grant Thompson Construction did an absolutely fantastic job renovating both my bathroom and kitchen! They managed to completely transform the space within a month, which was amazing. The bathroom remodel was particularly impressive – they replaced my old tub with a beautiful walk-in shower, built a custom vanity that perfectly fit the space, and really elevated the whole room with the new flooring and framed mirror. I was especially thrilled with the quality of the custom vanity; the drawers are so well-constructed and the hardware is top-notch. And the kitchen was just as impressive – the new cabinet doors, drawers with pull-out shelves, and the beautiful maple breadboard are all incredibly well-made with dovetail joints and sturdy hardware. They also took care of all the electrical and plumbing updates, along with painting, which was a huge relief. Throughout the entire process, the team was incredibly communicative and worked together seamlessly. It was a pleasure to have them in my home, and I wholeheartedly recommend Grant Thompson Construction – kudos to the whole team for a truly outstanding job! report abuse

  Grant did an absolutely fantastic job with our basement remodel. He was so helpful in discussing all of our design options and, most importantly, he ensured the entire project was completed exactly to our satisfaction. He completely transformed our unfinished basement into a fantastic space for the kids – they’re already excited for game nights, movie nights, and just hanging out there.   Grant and his team did a fantastic job renovating our bathroom. We were dealing with some serious leaks and outdated flooring, and they took care of everything efficiently and professionally. Everyone – the plumbers, the drywaller, the painter, and the flooring guys – worked together seamlessly, keeping us updated and completing the job within a reasonable timeframe and at a really fair price.   Grant and his team did an absolutely fantastic job remodeling our kitchen! They really knocked it out of the park – from start to finish, the whole project took just seven weeks, which was amazing. They replaced the cabinet doors and drawer fronts, stripped and repainted the base cabinets, installed a new countertop and sink, and even did a beautiful backsplash and new LED lighting. Plus, they tackled the soffit and floor tile repairs. It was a bit chaotic at times with so many craftsmen working, but everyone was incredibly courteous and professional, and most importantly, the results are fantastic.
