  “Honestly, we’re incredibly disappointed with the floor installation. The biggest issue was the swirl marks all over the floor – it’s clear they didn’t use a fine enough sandpaper. Adding to that, the price unexpectedly jumped from $2,200 to $3,800, and Jorge explained it was due to the house being larger than initially estimated. Strangely, he hadn’t brought a tape measure when he gave the quote. My son had to measure for him with a laser pointer! From the start, it felt really unprofessional; he didn't make eye contact and seemed distant. To add to the problems, they completely neglected to tape the baseboards, and now we have tinted urethane that needs to be replaced in every room. Looking back, I should have gotten a second opinion – this company was just terrible.” report abuse

  George and Dias Hardwood Floors were absolutely fantastic! We had a frustrating situation with a bleach spill and a really difficult landlord, which caused significant delays in getting the issue resolved. However, George remained incredibly patient and professional throughout the entire process. He’s clearly a skilled and knowledgeable woodworker – he really knows his stuff, and we appreciated his expertise. He didn’t expect a “thank you” gift, which was great, but we really want to encourage anyone looking for quality hardwood repair or refinishing in Vermont or Massachusetts to reach out to him. Seriously, you won’t find better service or prices – we couldn't recommend Dias Hardwood Floors more highly! report abuse

  “We were absolutely blown away by Dias Brothers! My wife and I were honestly surprised how seamlessly the whole process went – it was entirely down to Jorge and Philip. They were just fantastic – so friendly, punctual, and genuinely helpful. They really went above and beyond what was in the contract, offering some really good advice too. We recently had our living room completely transformed with new hardwood flooring and a full first-floor sanding and recoat, and they even assisted with some smaller painting jobs. Honestly, we can’t say enough good things about them, and we’ll definitely be recommending them to everyone we know. We’ll absolutely be calling them for any future projects.” report abuse

  I was so thrilled with the refinishing job Jorge and his team did in my living and dining room – it’s about 500 square feet and had been installed nearly 40 years ago. They were incredibly professional and responsive; they came over within an hour of my call, gave me a very reasonable quote, and even went above and beyond by refinishing some oak window sills and helping us move furniture. The floor was in pretty rough shape with significant wear and tear, especially around the front door, and some water damage, but they completely transformed it! They were significantly cheaper than any other quote I received, and I've now booked them to replace my slate floor in the back of the house with a brand new tile floor – another unbelievable price! However, I recently had a really disappointing experience with them regarding my tile replacement project. I'd given them a deposit, but they never showed up, and I haven’t been able to get in touch with anyone since. It’s a shame, as they did such a fantastic job with the initial refinishing. report abuse
