  Adam and the team at Carballo Architecture were absolutely fantastic to work with. We hired them to add an extension to our brownstone, and Adam really brought our vision to life – it’s now exactly what we’d dreamed of! From the very first meeting at our home through all the design reviews and finally, the perfect finished design, the whole experience was truly exceptional. Adam didn’t just deliver an amazing design; he also handled all the tricky parts, securing our zoning approval and building permit. Hayley, Caitlin, and Hanui were also incredible – Hayley and Caitlin kept everything running smoothly, and Hanui was such a talented architect. They were always so helpful, answering all my questions and making the entire process fun and stress-free.   Adam did a really difficult job for us, and unfortunately, things didn’t go well in the end. He made some significant errors that ultimately cost us a considerable amount of money, and when we tried to work with him to correct them, he completely refused. His communication was also a major issue – he ignored my calls and responded with a very dismissive email. We ended up having to hire someone else to fix the problems he created, and it was a frustrating and costly experience. Honestly, he seemed like a perfectly pleasant person until it was time to pay him in full. I wouldn’t be recommending him to others. report abuse

  Overall, this was a really positive experience. The team – Mr. Adam Carballo, Ms. Shima Safinia, Caitlin Mullett, Hayley Dryden and the whole group – were fantastic, incredibly responsive, and did a truly great job.
