  Overall, I was really happy with the service. Eric was fantastic – punctual, incredibly professional and clearly knew his stuff. He communicated really well and did a very thorough job. The price was a bit on the higher side, but I’d definitely consider using his services again. report abuse

  I was really impressed with Big Family’s service. I called at 8:00 am sharp and spoke with a lovely lady who quickly gathered all the details. She promptly arranged for a technician to come out, and I was told to expect Eric around 9:30 am. I received a text confirming his arrival and a picture of him, which was a nice touch. Eric arrived right on time and was incredibly professional and polite. He quickly diagnosed the issue – it turned out the original wiring was done with a faulty “stab-in” method, which he explained is a common failure point. He expertly fixed the problem, replacing the bad receptacle and also added a GFCI to my main breaker box for the kitchen, all while clearly explaining each step. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service – Big Family is fantastic, and I’ll definitely be recommending them to all my friends who need electrical work! report abuse

  “Big Family really went above and beyond for us! They were incredibly responsive and got my HVAC unit repaired and a new smart thermostat installed very quickly. I especially loved the new thermostat – it’s fantastic to be able to control it from my phone.   “I called them last night because my stovetop suddenly stopped working, and I was shocked to be charged an $89 service fee. To add to that, they then tried to bill me an extra $209 for a diagnostic test – totaling $300 before they’d even looked at the problem. Honestly, it felt completely unreasonable and like a scam. I don’t accept being asked to pay so much upfront before they’ve diagnosed the issue. I left feeling uncomfortable and, ultimately, paid the service fee just to have them leave. I definitely won’t be using their services again.” report abuse

  Nick was fantastic – he really took the time to help me sort out some tricky wiring issues with my panel, and he did a superb job installing the new 60 amp breaker for my subpanel. I’d highly recommend Big Family! report abuse
