I was incredibly disappointed with Louisiana Land Surveying. I hired them back in 2019 to get a survey for an 8-foot cedar fence and, frankly, they didn’t deliver. They marked my driveway with bright orange spray paint but never provided the actual survey I needed for the permit office. I ended up having to pay for a completely new survey in 2022 just to finish my fence. To add to the frustration, they sent a barrage of bills and constantly pressured me with emails, and one of the employees, Curtis, was incredibly condescending. He essentially dismissed my knowledge about my property and repeatedly lectured me about the clay pavers I was using, despite me explaining the proper installation method. It felt completely disrespectful, and I left feeling like they didn’t value my input or understand my needs. Adding to the unsettling experience, I later learned they were friends with the builder next door who was also constantly harassing me. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and left me feeling unheard and undervalued.

“I had a really frustrating experience with LA Land Surveying. I initially paid $400 in 2018/2019 for a survey specifically for permitting and a drawing, and I was repeatedly told I needed to request the correct survey. Despite multiple payments – including an additional $350 to get a fence installed – I never received the drawing I was promised. The whole process was incredibly disorganized. They sent me constant reminders about unpaid bills, and I eventually had to drive over with a check after issues with online payments. During one visit, I had a completely uncomfortable and rude conversation with Curtis Cheney who seemed more interested in criticizing my plans for landscaping than actually addressing my survey needs. To add to the problem, the drawing they finally provided is inaccurate; it doesn’t include my existing shed, which has been on the property for over 60 years. It’s clear Curtis and LA Land Surveying lack integrity and don’t seem to value clear communication, as evidenced by his dismissive attitude and repeated excuses. Frankly, I wouldn’t recommend them – especially considering their behavior seems similar to that of another contractor I’ve dealt with.”

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Mr. Curtis and his team for the fantastic job they did on our RV Barndominium. They were incredibly responsive, always kept us updated, and answered all our questions promptly. I wholeheartedly recommend them!”

“I was really impressed with this team. They listened carefully to my needs, clearly explained the process, gave me a realistic timeline, and then followed through perfectly – they arrived exactly when they said they would and got straight to work. I’d absolutely recommend them without hesitation.”

Tina’s conduct during our phone conversation was unacceptable. She was incredibly rude and disrespectful, raising her voice and using inappropriate language.
