  Overall, I was really pleased with Tar Heel. They did a fantastic job inspecting and replacing our roof – the team was professional, really easy to work with, and they were incredibly understanding when we had a couple of delays due to the weather. They kept me updated every step of the way, which made the whole process so much smoother than I expected. And, of course, the new roof looks absolutely amazing!   “I absolutely have to say, Tar Heel Roofing was fantastic! They replaced our roof, gutters, and fascia last week, and honestly, I couldn’t recommend them more highly. We looked at several other roofing companies – some with really good reviews – but Tar Heel was miles ahead. The price was great, but what really stood out was the incredible attention to detail. From the very beginning, the ladies in the office were so friendly and helpful, treating us like valued customers. Then Brian, our foreman, was just brilliant. He took the time to explain everything, patiently answered all our questions, and his recommendations for the shingles and gutters were spot on. The finished product looks absolutely stunning! The crews were fantastic, working so carefully and cleaning up the site perfectly – it actually looked better than before they started. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and Bear, in particular, was a real gem – his sense of humor made the whole process a lot of fun!   “We decided to completely redo our siding after a recent storm, and Brian from Tar Heel Construction Group really stood out to us. We got quotes from several companies in Harford County, and Brian’s choice of siding was noticeably higher quality, and his suggestions perfectly matched what we were already researching. What really impressed us was that Tar Heel included the moisture barrier and insulated board right away – something the other companies either didn’t offer or required us to add on. It just showed they were committed to doing the job properly. They also took care of replacing our soffit and gutters, which were outdated and constantly overflowing. Brian’s recommendation for 6” gutters and a hidden vent soffit was a smart, durable option that didn’t break the bank. Plus, while they were working, they even cleared out the old, restrictive insulation, which I believe actually helped prevent the ice dam/roof leak we had with our new roof two years ago. Honestly, the quality of their work is fantastic – my wife and I absolutely love how the house looks. Their crew is incredibly efficient and experienced; we watched them working and were really impressed with how well they coordinated.   “We recently had our siding and gutters replaced, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience thanks to TarHeel. Back in the fall of 2021, we decided it was time for a new look, and Brian Bentz from TarHeel was fantastic to work with. He was really easy to talk to, kept us informed every step of the way, and quickly put together an estimate that was even better than the other bids we’d received. Because of the holidays, we asked to delay the work until the new year, and Brian was totally understanding. He even offered a really helpful service – they took pictures of our house and let us see different siding colors to help us decide. He provided samples of the colors we were considering, which made the process so much easier. Throughout the project, Brian was great at checking in and making sure everything was going smoothly. The teams for both the siding and the gutters worked together seamlessly, and the siding crew finished the job in just two days, ensuring everything was up to code – they even wrapped the fascia and soffits and matched our shed to the house! The gutter installers did a fantastic job with seam-free gutters. Overall, TarHeel was professional, efficient, and incredibly thorough. They cleaned up after themselves, and I’m so pleased with the final result – you can see the before and after photos I’ve attached.
