  “The unloading process was incredibly slow and frustrating. I ended up spending the entire day waiting for my truck to be unloaded, and it seemed like there was no clear system in place. I tried to get clarification from the person handling the paperwork, but she repeatedly told me it was simply “the process,” even when I asked if I should expect more trucks to arrive before mine. Her responses were consistently dismissive and, frankly, quite rude. It felt like there was no attempt to address my concerns or provide an estimated timeframe.   “I can’t recommend this company for truss work – it’s been a consistently frustrating experience. We used them on a new home build, and we received a shipment of trusses that were clearly damaged. They were properly banded when delivered, but as soon as we started setting them, we found broken plates and lumber, and even mud was applied incorrectly. It was obvious the trusses weren't up to standard, and shockingly, they were approved by their quality control team. They then sent a repair sheet with plywood patches, which was completely inadequate. We’ve continued to uncover further damage and are now constantly worried about the stability of these trusses. This has caused significant delays and a huge amount of wasted time. UFP offered some compensation, but it barely covered the initial materials and labor, and they didn’t account for the delays or the additional damage we’ve had to deal with. They haven’t even inspected the repairs themselves. Honestly, the entire situation raises serious concerns about their quality control and liability. It’s unacceptable to be dealing with such shoddy workmanship, especially when it comes to a crucial part of a home. We’re now four months into this and still haven't received any payment – it’s been a complete nightmare.” report abuse

  “The experience was incredibly frustrating. I waited in line from 7:30 am and didn’t actually get to unloading until 5:00 pm. The pace was unbelievably slow – we were handling more than two trucks’ worth of work in a single shift, and it felt like a lot of the time was spent just waiting for people to show up.
