Overall, this was a really positive experience for my first large-scale project – a slab pour. I’ve got a strong theoretical background as a structural engineer, but it was definitely a learning curve tackling something like this. I put in a lot of effort prepping, but working alone made it challenging. The driver was fantastic – punctual, friendly, and even jumped in to help me with the screeding; it was a real struggle with that 10’ 2x4 on my own! The concrete mix was perfect and the pricing was competitive, especially considering the reduced quantity they delivered. Thanks for accommodating the less than full truck load – it was really appreciated.

I can’t thank the team at Dauphinais Concrete enough – they truly went above and beyond for me. I was completely stranded two hours from home when a weld broke on my dump truck, and without Chris and his mechanics stepping in to quickly repair it, I’d have been stuck with a massive tow bill. Everyone I met was so welcoming and helpful, and I genuinely felt like they were looking out for a small business owner in need. It was such a kind and unexpected act of generosity, and I’m incredibly grateful for their help getting me back on the road.

I’m incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the recent disruption at Beaver Pond. I’ve been fishing there since 1965, and it’s always been a wonderful experience, built on respect for the property and its previous owners. Unfortunately, some individuals caused a significant problem by closing access for everyone due to their behavior. It’s truly disheartening to see the enjoyment taken away from a place that’s been a part of my life for so long. I sincerely wish they would have acted with more consideration for others and the peaceful nature of the area.
