  “We’ve been incredibly happy with Meridian Homes over the past two years, using them for several renovations. They tackled some really unique projects for us, like turning our basement into a full garage gym and building a staircase to a new bedroom. Michael and his team were amazing – they really listened to our vision and came up with brilliant solutions, even when things seemed like a problem with no clear answer. The estimates were spot on, and the whole team, from the project managers to the workers to the subcontractors, was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly, even our kids loved having them around! But what really sets them apart is their responsiveness. When we had a couple of plumbing emergencies, Michael and his guys jumped right in, not just fixing the immediate problem but also guiding us on how to prevent further damage. Their experience really shone through. Honestly, they’re not the cheapest option, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The quality of their work is outstanding, and they were completely hands-off – they did a brilliant job without needing constant supervision. They were incredibly thorough, always cleaning up and preparing the workspace perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’ll definitely be using Meridian Homes for all our future renovation needs – from repairs to building a whole new house!” report abuse

From start to finish, we were incredibly impressed with the quality of the construction and really appreciated the thoughtful design choices and layout. But what truly stood out was the fantastic service – Jonathan and his team were just wonderful to work with. They were so easy to communicate with, genuinely friendly, and made the whole process a really enjoyable experience.   “We recently completed a full renovation of our 30-year-old home with Meridian Homes, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The house had fantastic potential, and they truly brought it up to date. From start to finish, they were incredibly accommodating and professional, managing everything perfectly – they got exactly what we wanted done, and on time, too. Michael Lerner was a fantastic asset, helping us brainstorm some really brilliant design ideas that we hadn’t even considered. They used top-notch subcontractors for every job, and they were even happy to let us work with our own preferred contractors. They tackled a *huge* amount of work, including completely updating all the lighting with LEDs, gutting and renovating our bathrooms (which are now stunning!), building a beautiful new deck, replacing all the doors and hardware, painting the entire house, and so much more – new appliances, granite countertops, new windows, flooring, even a whole-house water filtration system! What really stood out was their coordination and commitment to keeping the project on track and within budget, alongside their first-class customer service.   “I want to be completely transparent – we’ve decided not to move forward with Meridian Homes. From the beginning, their president, Michael Lerner, exhibited a really dismissive and frankly, condescending attitude. He responded to my initial inquiry about a kitchen remodel and immediately stated he couldn’t offer a price below $100,000 – and that was without even knowing the details of our project. Honestly, it was a huge red flag, and I’d advise anyone considering them to proceed with extreme caution.” report abuse

  Honestly, ten years after a very costly renovation, I’m still struggling with significant water damage and ongoing repairs – all stemming from what I believe was shockingly poor workmanship. When I contacted them about it, the response was incredibly frustrating; they simply pointed to the expired one-year warranty and said it wasn’t their responsibility. I feel completely taken advantage of and like I was scammed. report abuse
