I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this builder. Every time I look at my flooded yard – which was supposedly properly graded – I’m reminded of a terrible mistake I made choosing Winchester. It was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had with a builder. Four years ago, I bought a house from them, and they simply didn’t address any of the issues we raised. Don’t be misled by the “HomePro” group; it’s just Winchester trying to cover things up and make you think they’re acting independently when they’re really not. Seriously, don’t move in until they’ve fixed the electrical outlets – it’s a major problem!

“I’m incredibly disappointed with Winchester Homes. From the very beginning, we felt misled and frustrated with their promises. We signed our contract back in June 2018 and were initially reassured about the yearly waterfront fee, but then we received a bill for $1,000 unexpectedly in January 2019, with only 15 days to pay. It took weeks to get clarification, and ultimately, they admitted the fee wasn’t covered at closing. Adding to this, our move-in date was set for mid-September 2018, but just one day before closing, we were told the inspector had failed to pass the Certificate of Occupancy. This caused a huge disruption – my wife, kids, dog, and sister-in-law were suddenly without a place to stay. While they did cover hotel costs, it took them a week to even come up with a solution, which involved tearing down walls in the staircase due to building code violations. They even claimed to have built hundreds of similar homes, yet they didn’t address the safety issues in any of them! It’s completely unacceptable, and frankly, I don't trust Winchester Homes."
