  Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the quote I received. They were proposing $800 for a boundary survey covering just 165 feet, estimating 6 hours of work. When I asked for a breakdown, the response was just “it is what it is,” which felt incredibly dismissive. Considering the relatively short length of the survey and the fact it only needs to be established in one location, the price and time estimate seemed excessively high – I was anticipating something closer to $150-$200 and no more than an hour. report abuse

  Overall, the experience was pretty unsettling. The woman who came to my door was lovely and professional, but the surveyor himself was incredibly strange – he just appeared without introducing himself. I even caught a glimpse of a hooded figure lurking in my yard, and if I hadn’t noticed his van, I probably would have called the police. Honestly, the whole process left me feeling uneasy, and when the woman asked if I was unhappy with it, I realized I had no real way of judging a surveyor’s work. My survey was just a blank sheet of paper with basic measurements, and I ended up spending time measuring trees myself with twine. I’d definitely be interested in getting a second opinion from another surveyor sometime to see if I had the right of way.” report abuse

  “I was disappointed with this worker’s behavior. He wasn’t particularly courteous, walked onto my property without letting us know he was there, and frankly, it felt quite intrusive. Basic courtesy and communication are essential for any professional, and I expected to be informed about his work. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend this company based on my experience.” report abuse

  “I contacted this company to get a property survey done, but I haven’t heard back from them at all. I initially filled out a form on their website with no response, and then I called them three days ago and was told they’d get back to me – still nothing.
