  “We’re absolutely delighted with our new solar panels – it’s honestly a dream come true! We’d been considering them for so long, but we weren’t sure they’d work on our slate roof. Dave’s brilliant engineering really made it happen, and we absolutely love seeing them every day. The whole process was incredibly well-managed; the permits and approvals were handled efficiently and logically, and the installation itself took just two days. Ryan was fantastic throughout, keeping us fully informed about the timeline and proactively addressing any minor issues. He even helped us coordinate the removal of some trees and a new garage roof – a huge help! Now we’re generating more energy than we use and selling the surplus back to the utility, which is fantastic given our low-rate loan and the security it offers.   “I can’t recommend Dave and Solar Slate highly enough! We had a fantastic experience with them installing solar panels and skylights on our complex slate roof. Living in a two-family home with a steep pitch and multiple roof planes, finding a contractor who could handle the job – especially coordinating with Brightway Energy – was incredibly difficult. Dave was the only one in the greater Boston area who could do it, and we’re so grateful we found him. He and his crew did an absolutely outstanding job on both the solar panel brackets and the five Velux skylights in our attic. Dave really listened to our needs, checking in with us constantly to ensure we were happy with the placement of the skylights.
