  “I was looking to install six Mini-Splits in my home, and initially contacted Polar Bear Service. A representative came out, took measurements, and promised to send me a quote. I followed up a week later, but still hadn’t heard back. Thankfully, Dusty from Standard Heating, Cooling and Plumbing stepped in. He quickly assessed my situation and explained that Mini-Splits weren’t the right solution – he offered a much better approach to fixing the underlying issue.   “I was really impressed with the service I received. The initial representative mistakenly described my water softener as a Rain Soft product, which was a misunderstanding. Thankfully, the technician was incredibly honest and quickly clarified that he wasn't familiar with Rain Soft. The service manager was also very understanding and waived the diagnostic fee.   “I was really frustrated with my experience. I booked an appointment online, which gave me a confirmation email and text, but no technician ever arrived. When I called to find out what happened, I was told the online system is just a request for someone to contact me – it doesn’t actually schedule anything. He was so professional and fixed the problem really efficiently. Plus, the price was fair.   “I was pretty surprised by the cost – $88 for the service fee plus $405 for just one pound of coolant felt really high. It was particularly frustrating that the price remained $405 even for a single pound. While I understand needing to make a profit, this approach feels a little too aggressive and could definitely make someone hesitant to return in the future.” report abuse

  “I can’t even begin to express how incredibly grateful I am to Standard Water Solutions. We’d been struggling for over three months with a faulty tankless water heater – it was installed by a subcontractor years ago – and were getting nowhere with other companies. Finally, we decided to go with a brand new system and a Halo 6 whole-home filtration system to tackle the Alabaster lime buildup in our water. Standard was the only company that actually listened to our frustration and followed up. Mike, our technician, was absolutely fantastic – truly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to explain the solution and get us up and running quickly. He even helped us rearrange things to get us going sooner than expected. Honestly, it’s the best investment I’ve ever made. From the people who answered the phones to Mike himself, the whole experience was outstanding.
