  Overall, we've been extremely happy with AFA’s service over the past few years. Deb in the office has been fantastic – always incredibly responsive and helpful, really going the extra mile to make sure we have the right equipment and the best possible support. And Jimmy, our service technician, is a genuinely great guy.   “I’m incredibly frustrated with the ongoing issues we’ve been experiencing with the fire alarm system at 944 Dorchester Ave. It’s been beeping constantly for months, and we’ve repeatedly contacted your Boston service team with no real resolution. It’s consistently a chaotic process – the national number is difficult to navigate, appointments are frequently missed, and when technicians finally arrive, it’s always their first time on-site. They seem to lack basic information about the building, including access to the panel and the key we provide for other vendors. They essentially start from scratch every time, racking up thousands of dollars in charges as they try to understand the system. Frankly, this is unacceptable. We need a serious explanation for this persistent lack of performance, and a concrete plan to ensure this doesn’t happen again. As life safety is a critical concern, we expect immediate action and accountability. We need assurance that you’re taking full responsibility and that we’ll be held to account should any further problems arise.” report abuse

  “Overall, this account presented a significant challenge due to a Friday afternoon alarm panel failure just before a holiday weekend. However, I was incredibly impressed with the responsiveness and dedication of Andrew and Kenny. They both took the initiative to get a replacement panel secured and installed the following day, effectively preventing a potentially much more serious situation – requiring the building to be on fire watch.
