  “We were really disappointed with the roof work we had done in 2014. After the job was completed, there was a huge amount of debris scattered across our yard, and it took us both a long time to clean it up. To make matters worse, there were still nails left in our flower beds and lawn. During the work, they also damaged a screen and some of our flowers. Shingles were even left loose in the siding. What was most concerning was that my husband inspected the roof and found many nails that hadn't been properly secured. It was incredibly frustrating that Mike didn’t seem to check up on his team’s work and then tried to pass the blame for the mess onto us. It's unacceptable that we had to deal with the aftermath of their poor workmanship. As the homeowner, I believe Mike should have been responsible for fixing the damage, not us. Honestly, we wouldn't recommend this company.” report abuse

  I had a really frustrating experience with Miller’s Roofing. I scheduled an appointment for them to assess my roof, but they completely missed the appointment and didn’t show up all day. After multiple calls and messages, they finally sent someone out the next day who gave me a quick estimate and promised to put a tarp on my roof while they handled the insurance paperwork – with the assurance I wouldn’t receive a bill. However, a week later, they slapped on a very basic $10 Walmart tarp and then sent me a shocking $600 bill for an hour of work. They never followed through on their promise to coordinate with the insurance adjuster or even talk to them. I tried repeatedly to get them to respond, but it was like they weren't interested. Eventually, I just gave up and ended up fixing the roof myself. Two months later, they suddenly contacted me wanting $500 – which I felt was far too much considering what they’d actually done. It was incredibly frustrating dealing with them, especially since they seemed unwilling to communicate effectively. Honestly, if you’re not willing to prioritize customer service and handle smaller jobs, you shouldn’t be taking them on. report abuse

  Mike did a really commendable job – he immediately stepped up and took ownership of the issue identified after the recent reroofing project. He was both responsive and handled the situation with a strong sense of ethics, which are unfortunately quite uncommon these days. report abuse
