  “MJ Nicholls and his team did an absolutely fantastic job transforming our yard. The lawn and bushes had been completely overgrown after the property had been vacant for ten years, but they tackled it with professionalism and efficiency. They worked incredibly quickly and we’re still really happy with the result, even though our toddlers do a bit of damage to it every day! But the biggest win was the grading – it’s completely solved the persistent water problems we were having in our basement. I wholeheartedly recommend MJ Nicholls.” report abuse

After hiring them for a hardscape project, another company beat them out on a bid, and shortly after, they abruptly cancelled my regular maintenance contract without any communication. I had to actively pursue the situation to find out what happened. Frankly, it was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional – the owner, Matt, even seemed to imply I should automatically choose his company simply because he’d provided a quote. Because of this, I’d advise caution when working with this company; they seem to react poorly to competition and may disappear if business slows down.   Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the service we received. They did a good job last fall, and I reached out to Matt for a follow-up repair and some extra work, but he hasn’t responded to any of our attempts to get in touch – through the office and even voicemail. It’s been incredibly frustrating, and unfortunately, we can’t recommend them based on this experience. report abuse

  “We were absolutely thrilled with the work Eric and his team did for us. They tackled a really complex project – regrading our front yard, installing a french drain, and building a beautiful retaining wall – and they did it so efficiently. What really stood out was their willingness to go above and beyond. We mentioned a future project, removing an old debris pile from the backyard, and Eric immediately gave us a fair quote and incorporated it into the original plan. Throughout the entire process, Eric and his team were incredibly responsive and professional. They were always quick to address any questions or changes we needed to make, even if it meant adjusting their schedule. Seriously, they were fantastic!   I was incredibly impressed with Matt and his team. They really went above and beyond to help me – Matt responded to my email so quickly and managed to get the fence installed on very short notice. But the best part was the crew themselves; they did an absolutely fantastic job and even took the initiative to clear some poison ivy and trim some bushes in my yard. It was such a pleasant surprise, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. I’ll definitely be using their services again! report abuse

  MJ Nicholls Landscaping did an absolutely fantastic job with our project! They were really helpful in breaking down the work into manageable parts and we had two separate crews working on our retaining walls and steps – and both were seriously impressive.
