  CTW Plumbing and Heating have been absolutely fantastic for me over the last few years. I’ve always been really impressed with their service – they’re competitively priced, do a fantastic job, and are incredibly responsive, especially when I need something done quickly. I’ve used them for everything from replacing faucets and my water heater to a heating blower motor, and each time they showed up on time and delivered top-quality work.   CTW has been absolutely fantastic for us. As a property manager handling hundreds of properties in Greater Boston, they’re by far the best vendor I’ve worked with. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and, most importantly, someone you can really trust. Becky handles the day-to-day operations and she’s always so pleasant and easy to work with. We rely on them for hundreds of repair calls annually, and they even serve as our general contractor for plumbing on all of our construction projects.   “I was really disappointed with CTW Plumbing and Heating. I used them for a few plumbing jobs, but unfortunately, the experience was riddled with problems. Caleb, the owner, didn’t seem to oversee his team effectively, and there were significant delays in getting the initial work completed. Worse still, almost nine months after the job was finished, I received a bill for a return visit and another unrelated job – with no prior warning. Specifically, a major heat pipe repair, costing nearly $3,000, was done poorly. The plumber left metal end caps bent and sticking out, and it wasn’t until I repeatedly asked him to send someone back to fix them that he finally did. Even then, many of the end caps were still loose and exposed sharp metal edges in my rental apartment. It was incredibly frustrating to have to push him for a resolution. He was argumentative and seemed unwilling to simply address the issues, and of course, he wasn’t offering any free services to correct his team’s mistakes. I provided proof of payment from nine months ago, but it didn't change anything.” report abuse

  CTW Plumbing did the heating and air conditioning maintenance at my home for over a year, but unfortunately, the service was consistently unreliable. They struggled to schedule appointments in a timely manner, and we experienced several mistakes, ranging from simple oversights like forgotten refrigerant line caps to more serious and concerning issues. Caleb Whelden, in particular, often became defensive and wasn't willing to take ownership of the problems or the inconvenience they caused. Honestly, we could have avoided a huge amount of wasted time and money if we’d brought in a different maintenance team sooner. report abuse
