  Jim and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with. We’ve used him on three projects now, and he consistently delivers incredibly high-quality work, no matter the size. The most recent project – completely replacing our 100-year-old slate roof, including sourcing the new slate from the original quarry, along with repointing the chimneys, new sub roofing, rubber roofs, copper work, gutters, and painting – was a massive undertaking, and he handled it flawlessly. He’s incredibly detail-oriented, always considering the budget and the history of the property, which is really appreciated. He’s also a pleasure to work with – clear, straightforward, and professional, and he consistently brings in the best tradespeople. Honestly, he’s worth every penny and stands behind his work, as we saw with the previous projects too, like the emergency bathroom repair and the whole house insulation – both were handled brilliantly.   CC Maher at Benefitness Health Club in Brookline was incredibly pleased with the work Jim Lockwood and his team did on the Woman’s Health Club project. Jim really stepped up and took full control, expertly overseeing the gut and renovation of the two-story space.   Jim and his crew did an absolutely fantastic job upgrading our Brookline house. We were so impressed with the transformation – our 100-year-old home is now wonderfully comfortable and warm, and our heating bills have really taken a hit. They were incredibly meticulous, doing a lot of careful work inside to make it all seamless, and the paint color matching was perfect.   Lockwood Construction did an absolutely fantastic job with our recent project! They expertly repaired the water damage in our basement wall, and it looks fantastic – the vent holes Jim installed should really keep everything dry. They also built a beautiful rear addition, including a new bathroom, which was a huge undertaking considering we’re in an attached townhouse and they had to hoist all the materials over the roof. It’s amazing how they’ve brought the space back to its original beauty, just like it was when it was first built 15 years ago. We highly recommend them. report abuse
