We moved into our home built by Eagle Creek in July 2017, and from the very beginning, we’ve experienced significant drainage problems in our backyard. Initially, water would pool after rain and wasn’t properly directed to the drainage basin. While it would eventually recede, the problem persisted. Since Eagle Creek has expanded the development behind our property and increased water runoff towards the drainage easement, the pooling has become a constant issue, with a standing pool of water present in our backyard since June. Despite multiple attempts to address this with Eagle Creek, and confirmation from Kent County Drain Commissioner Ken Yonkers that the issue stems from grading problems, they've refused to offer any solution. Furthermore, our warranty claims, filed within the first year of moving in, were completely ignored.

Eagle Creek really impressed me. From start to finish, the whole team – the staff and project managers – were fantastic to work with. The quality of the build was outstanding, and honestly, they were among the best builders I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I’d definitely recommend Eagle Creek to anyone looking to build their new home.

“We moved into our home in March 2020, and unfortunately, our experience with Eagle Creek has been very disappointing. While we understood there would be delays due to the Covid situation, we’ve continued to face unresolved issues with the property, and their responsiveness has been consistently lacking. We’ve had problems with unfinished finishes, cabinets, and paint, all supposedly covered by warranty, but with little action taken. My husband has documented numerous text conversations trying to get these issues addressed, and we were never given the promised “One Year” appointment to discuss them. We were also misled before purchasing the home about fiber internet availability, which turned out to be false. Most frustratingly, they’re now refusing to complete the work on our private driveway, a promise made at closing. We even have written confirmation from an employee stating they would handle these driveway issues. Now they’re saying it’s our responsibility, which is completely unacceptable. Adding to this, they haven’t followed through on fixing many of the initial problems within the house itself. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend building a home with Eagle Creek – they simply don’t keep their promises and don’t seem to prioritize their customers.”

We were put on a waiting list for a specific lot in phase II, but never received a response. Ultimately, we moved on to another builder, and thankfully haven’t encountered similar issues. It felt like they weren't being upfront or taking us seriously, which was a really disappointing and off-putting experience. Transparency and honesty are crucial when choosing a builder, so I wanted to share this feedback.”
