  Overall, I had a really positive experience with Southern Maryland Kitchen & Bath. They recently did some flooring work for me and did a fantastic job – truly excellent. What impressed me most was that they cleaned up after themselves and even replaced my furniture, which was a really thoughtful touch.   Overall, we were thrilled with the work done on our home! The drywall was done beautifully, and the flooring contractors were incredibly efficient. We really appreciated how quickly they got the extra materials we needed – our designer handled everything seamlessly and got it sorted out right away, so they could finish the job without any delays.   “The craftsmanship itself was really excellent – these artisans clearly know their work. The final product was good quality and delivered what you’d expect for the price, though it was a little on the higher side. Unfortunately, there were some problems with getting things delivered on time, which seemed to be down to their own processes. What was really disappointing was the lack of communication from the management team; it felt like I was just another customer rather than being valued.” report abuse

  Overall, the kitchen remodel turned out absolutely fantastic! We’re so thrilled with the final result. The installation team was fantastic – really knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help us. And we really appreciated the showroom staff’s help too; they were brilliant at suggesting designs that worked perfectly for our small kitchen. We couldn’t be happier with everything. report abuse

  Honestly, my experience with this company was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. They completely failed to communicate, rarely responding to emails or texts, and it took them months to simply confirm if anyone was still working there. Worse, they misrepresented the scope of their work, and an employee admitted he hadn't actually completed any tasks. We ended up having to hire another company to fix the shoddy, incomplete work they’d done on our kitchen – it was clear they simply didn’t care about quality. We constantly had to go through the owner just to get them to show up, even then they were unreliable, often late or didn't show at all. It was a truly terrible way to run a business, and I strongly advise against pursuing any legal action – you’d regret it. report abuse

  Looking back, our experience with Southern Maryland Kitchen Floors and Design was incredibly frustrating. We started the project in January 2014, drawn in by their local focus – though it ultimately ended up costing us almost 50% more than other bids. The initial design and contract with Anthony seemed solid, but things quickly went off track. They kept needing to measure and remeasure because everything was cut on-site, and after five days, they admitted they were missing a significant amount of materials – 25+ shelves, tie racks, and even a major cabinet piece. Things dragged on for weeks with sporadic deliveries, and eventually, most of the missing items arrived. However, we were still short shelves, and the final installation was delayed again. To add to the stress, they kept requesting final payment despite the incomplete work. After a year of delays and constant issues, they finally got the majority of the project done, but we were still missing shelves. The whole process felt incredibly disorganized and unreliable, and we ended up feeling completely undervalued when they offered only a small discount at the end – barely acknowledging the immense inconvenience we’d endured. I found them online and, after interviewing several painters for over six months, I decided to hire them to paint the interior of our home. Gavi was fantastic – he was so thorough and helpful with the initial estimate. And Josh, the painter, was truly professional; he did a fantastic job prepping, cleaning up, and finishing. From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations, and the whole project, which took just over three weeks, was a really positive experience.
