  Honestly, we’re incredibly disappointed with our experience with this company. A few years ago, they replaced all of our windows and from the start, we’ve had nothing but issues. It’s clear they were cutting corners to save money – simply removing the old windows and applying a thin bead of caulk isn’t a professional installation at all. Because of this improper work, we’ve experienced significant problems with air leaks and insects getting into our home, which is a serious concern. To make matters worse, the owner, Martin, has been difficult and confrontational whenever we’ve raised concerns about the quality of his work. Dealing with this situation added a huge amount of stress during our home remodel, and we strongly advise anyone considering using this company to proceed with extreme caution. Be aware that online reviews can sometimes be misleading, so do your research carefully. report abuse

  Overall, we were really pleased with our experience with US Window & Door. They clearly went above and beyond to differentiate themselves, and their detailed product knowledge helped us select the perfect Tuscany line for our needs. The installation was consistently excellent – the fit and finish were top-notch, and everyone paid close attention to detail. We especially appreciated how responsive and timely the sales representative, office staff, and the installation crew were in addressing our questions and concerns. It was fantastic that the owner personally re-measured the windows on-site for accuracy and then conducted a final inspection, ensuring everything was just right.   “I was really pleased with US Window and Door. I had nine Milgard windows installed about 20 years ago by another company, and one had unfortunately started to warp and leak. When I contacted the original installers, they weren’t willing to take responsibility because I wasn’t the original buyer. After a three-week wait, they finally gave me a quote of $1470 to replace the window. Then I called US Window & Door, and they sent their owner, Martin Whitmore, who immediately recognized the poor quality of the original installation. He gave me a fantastic price of just $800 to replace the window – nearly $700 less than the other company wanted! The installers were fantastic – incredibly friendly, neat, efficient, and clearly experts at what they do. Martin even came back a week later to double-check the work, and everything was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t be happier!” report abuse

  Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on that text: “I bought five windows and doors from US Windows & Doors about ten years ago, and I really regretted it. I paid nearly $5,000, lured in by the promise of a lifetime warranty, but the installation was a disaster. The guys who put them in damaged my drywall and stucco, and we had leaks during the winter because of poor caulking. Getting them to actually fix the problem was a huge hassle – I spent weeks getting the runaround. Now, ten years later, one of the windows has started to fog up, and it’s just like the old problem. If you’re considering buying from them, absolutely get the warranty in writing from Martin Whitmore himself, because I’ve heard it’s the only way to get any real support.” report abuse
