  “I contacted six landscaping companies looking for seven yards of native stone for a driveway, but hadn’t heard back from anyone until Melville responded within 20 minutes on a Monday. The delivery was made the following morning, and the driver was fantastic – incredibly punctual and really careful with my property. He placed the stone exactly where I wanted it, which was a tricky spot. It’s great to find a company that’s so responsive and delivers such excellent service.   Overall, I was really pleased with my order. The fabric was fantastic – a perfect 50/50 blend with absolutely no plastic, which was great. The delivery was also super fast and the driver was incredibly careful and polite.   Overall, we were really pleased with our experience. We ordered mulch for our property, which is on a pretty steep hill, and unfortunately the driver accidentally bumped into our retaining wall. He was incredibly apologetic and kind about it, and honestly, we wouldn’t have been able to handle the repairs ourselves. The owner quickly responded, immediately connected us with a fantastic company to fix the wall, and even covered the entire cost of the repairs. Plus, the mulch itself was excellent quality and very reasonably priced. We’re so happy with their customer service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone! report abuse

  Honestly, we had a really frustrating experience with Melville Construction. The owner was completely unresponsive – we couldn’t even get a phone call to discuss our concerns. When the first delivery of gravel arrived, it was mostly sand with a few large rocks, nothing like what we’d been told. Then, the next layer turned out to be filled with roots instead of loam, and I ended up spending a whole afternoon removing them myself. It’s just unacceptable, and we felt completely misled about what we were getting. We definitely wouldn’t recommend them. report abuse

  I am incredibly disappointed with this company. I ordered loam and was instructed to pay by check, which bounced three days later. The seller then told me it was *my* fault and that he’d cashed both checks anyway – a completely dishonest and unacceptable situation. I was mortified and felt completely misled.
