I was really disappointed with Overhead Door’s service. They initially came out for a free estimate and said they’d order the parts to fix my garage door panel. The repair itself was quick – they got the panel on in about 30 minutes, but they do charge a minimum hourly rate. However, the original representative completely missed a crucial piece needed for the automatic opener. Despite promising to order the missing part, I’ve heard absolutely nothing in the months since, and it’s incredibly frustrating. I think they need to be much more thorough when taking an estimate and ensuring they have all the necessary parts before starting any work. Honestly, the lack of communication and the delay are unacceptable.

I had a really frustrating experience with this company. I called them to repair my garage door, and the technician diagnosed a problem with the logic board, charging me $450 to fix it. Unfortunately, the door still didn’t work. They then claimed the issue was a faulty RPM sensor and charged another $200 – still nothing. Finally, they informed me I’d have to pay $1000 for a completely new unit, insisting it was my decision to fix or replace it, despite not telling me upfront that the door was unrepairable and essentially a gamble. The office staff, specifically Rachel, seemed to just shrug and said they wouldn’t be serving my needs. I ended up paying $600 for a broken door, and felt completely abandoned. Honestly, this company doesn’t seem to stand behind their work or value their customers – I wouldn't recommend them.

After a 45-minute attempt, he determined I needed a completely new operator – a surprise to me! Then, he charged me $120 and put an hour and 15 minutes on the invoice. It was incredibly frustrating that they lost track of my business, and the lack of communication was unacceptable. To add insult to injury, the receptionist seemed to just “forget” to follow up. I’m understandably upset, and I’m requesting a refund for the $90 I paid.”
