  “I had a really negative experience with this surveying company. I hired them to survey my property for $1,200, but they kept adding conditions – insisting on a much higher payment to complete the job within six months. They did the survey, and it was shockingly inaccurate, off by nearly a full eighth of an acre, which ultimately benefited my neighbor. I refused to pay the extra money, and they ended up suing me for $3,800. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend using this company.” report abuse

  Overall, this was a surprisingly complex process, but I’m incredibly grateful for the team’s dedication and responsiveness. We encountered an unexpected issue with the land needing a new survey, and initially, getting anyone to respond was a huge challenge – it took weeks just to get a conversation started. Thankfully, a call to Cagle’s team led to a quick solution; they sent out a surveyor within a week to handle everything. The surveyors themselves were fantastic, really patient and clear with their explanations, and they even took care of re-drawing an easement that the builder needed. We then had to navigate a rezoning request with the county, and they supported us every step of the way. Despite the added complexity of the rezoning, they’ve continued to provide outstanding customer service, and we now have less than two weeks to close.   “We hired Cagle Land Surveying Group to survey a 12.5-acre parcel in Rising Fawn, GA, and while they were the quickest to get started, we were ultimately very disappointed with their service. They required a significant upfront retainer, and we provided them with all the necessary information, including that we were specifically requesting a ‘brow survey’ – which was clearly documented. However, once the survey was complete, Cagle informed us they’d only surveyed the upper 2.9 acres, claiming they didn't do ‘brow surveys.’ This was completely baffling, considering our initial request and the Walker County tax records, which confirmed it was a brow lot. The surveyors themselves acknowledged this when they conducted the work. We protested the incomplete survey and the inflated price, but Mr. Cagle insisted the retainer was non-refundable. This escalated into a very stressful situation, and we’re now pursuing legal action. Frankly, Mr. Cagle’s behavior was unacceptable and bordering on unethical, and we strongly advise anyone considering using Cagle Land Surveying Group to proceed with extreme caution.” report abuse
