“I can’t recommend these folks enough! They were incredibly professional and clearly very knowledgeable about solar and construction – a solid 10/10. I’d absolutely hire them for any of my projects. And, a bonus, Alex has a dog!”

Overall, my experience with DeFreitas Enterprises and Alex DeFreitas was mixed. I was very happy with the initial design and the quality of the solar panels and battery backup system they installed in 2021. Alex was professional and helpful, guiding me through the financing process and managing the entire installation and startup. However, things went seriously sideways after the system was fully operational. We encountered a wiring problem that took months of persistent follow-up to resolve, and now, ten months after installation, a battery failure has occurred. Despite the significant investment of nearly $70,000, I’ve received virtually no support or communication from Alex or DeFreitas Enterprises – the lack of customer service is completely unacceptable.
