Honestly, this has been an absolute nightmare. From the very beginning, we’ve faced a constant stream of issues. They delivered significantly less material than we needed to get started, and the gable end trusses were completely wrong – requiring extensive, poorly executed on-site repairs that I had to oversee myself. The crew just vanished for two weeks, and during that time we had two inches of rain, leaving all the lumber soaked. They wanted to proceed anyway, and thankfully I was there to stop them. We ended up needing to straighten several walls, and the roof installation was another three weeks delayed because the roofing materials weren’t even on site. To top it all off, one of the workers drilled holes in the wrong spots, and instead of fixing the damage properly, they just used a tiny bit of silicone – it’s unbelievable! We’ve had constant leaks ever since, and now, five years later, the cheap ventilation materials are failing, causing massive leaks, especially after snowstorms. It’s a disaster, and I’m incredibly disappointed with the quality of work and the complete lack of attention to detail. I cannot stress enough how terrible this experience has been; it’s by far the worst I’ve ever encountered with a construction project.

Honestly, we were incredibly disappointed with the service we received from Cleary. We were initially told it would take a week to build our shop, but it’s now nearly two weeks overdue, and the trusses are still not in place. Despite being fully paid, we’ve been repeatedly promised updates that never materialize – no one ever shows up. It’s frustrating, especially considering the weather hasn’t been a factor. When we requested a discount to acknowledge their delays, we were flatly refused, and all we received were more apologies and empty excuses. We bitterly regret not going with Morton or another company, and we would absolutely not recommend Cleary to anyone.
