  “I’d really caution anyone considering Cody Overhead Door. While they’ve been around for a long time, the current service and pricing are just not good. I recently used them to take down and reinstall a shop door during a remodel, and it was a really frustrating experience. They initially estimated a couple of man-hours on each side of the project, but then tried to charge me a full day’s rental fee for their lift—$275. After the remodel was complete, it took weeks of calling to get them to return and finish the job. When they finally arrived, the bill was a shocking $883, based on 8 man-hours of labor, and they wouldn’t even adjust it to match their original estimate. Honestly, it felt like they’d completely lost their way. Buyer beware – Cody Overhead Door isn’t the reliable company it once was.” report abuse

From the initial consultation, where they helped us visualize the perfect colors for our garage using their great program, to the flawless installation and the thorough cleanup afterward, everything was top-notch. The team was so knowledgeable and patient, explaining the program and making sure I felt completely comfortable before they left.   John Choich in Cody gave a really positive review of Overhead Doors. He was initially frustrated with ongoing issues with his 50-year-old garage doors, but one of the installers worked hard to resolve the problem. Ultimately, they replaced the doors, and John was very impressed with the quality of the installation and the installers’ professionalism and friendly service. My garage door spring broke unexpectedly, and they responded incredibly quickly, sending someone out the next business day to get me a temporary fix and order the replacement spring. Within a few days, the new spring arrived, and they promptly came back to install it. The door is now working perfectly – it’s like new!   Overall, I was really pleased with the garage door opener installation. The product itself seems high quality, and the installer was fantastic – really polite, professional, and did a fantastic, thorough job. The door is working perfectly. My only concern was the price; it seemed a little high, though the labor cost was reasonable.
