  “I’m absolutely thrilled with the work RES Solar did for us. We had their old solar hot water system installed several years ago, and it’s been a fantastic investment – we’ve saved a really noticeable amount on our energy bills by preheating our water. More recently, when we needed our roof replaced, they handled everything brilliantly. Coordinating the removal of the solar panels alongside the roofers would have been tricky, but RES Solar took care of it incredibly quickly, ensuring the roof replacement stayed on schedule. And after the new roof was finished, they swiftly reinstalled the panels and thoroughly tested the system. What really impressed me was the team’s attention to detail. They took the time to explain everything to me in detail about monitoring the system, showing me how to check the temperatures in both the solar panels and the water tank. It’s given me complete confidence in being able to keep an eye on things and spot any potential issues.   Matt and Erica did an absolutely fantastic job installing a solar solution for the Nantucket Hotel. Given the high propane costs and the strict regulations of our historic downtown location (built in 1891), they really came up with a brilliant solution. They expertly navigated all the approvals from the Historic District Commission and designed a system that seamlessly blended with the surrounding neighborhood while also helping us maximize our financial incentives. Throughout the entire process – from the initial planning to the installation and beyond – they were incredibly communicative and always easy to reach.   Overall, working with RES Solar was a fantastic experience. From the initial proposal to the smooth installation, everything was incredibly easy, transparent, and efficient.   We couldn’t be happier with the work RES Solar did installing our pool heating system. The previous owners had a real struggle with the pool – it was always so cold because the area was heavily shaded, and we moved in back in 2014. This spring, RES Solar did a fantastic job installing the system on the south side of our garage, and the difference is incredible! The pool temperatures are now consistently 8 to 15 degrees warmer than we’ve ever experienced in the last eight years. Erica and Matt were just wonderful – so responsive to all our questions and made the whole process incredibly smooth.   RES did an absolutely fantastic job installing the solar heating system for our pool. From start to finish, they were so professional and really easy to work with – they were always responsive and available whenever we had a question. Honestly, it’s one of the best investments we’ve ever made; we’re already seeing a huge return, and we’re projecting it will pay for itself in about 5-6 years (we’re now in our second year). The biggest difference is how much propane we’re using – we’re down to just one tank a season, which we only use to get the pool up to temperature at the beginning. What we really love is how simple it is – it’s “set it and forget it!” We just set our desired temperature, and the solar system takes care of the rest, keeping the pool at least 7-10 degrees warmer than the outside air at night. We’ve been able to enjoy night swims all summer long! report abuse
