  “I needed a large driveway paved, so I got quotes from several contractors – I checked the Yellow Pages and Google. I ended up with five different estimates, ranging from $16,000 to $42,000, all for essentially the same job. Jesse from APCO gave me a really good quote, and he was fantastic – courteous, helpful, and offered some great suggestions. What really stood out was that APCO had a proper business address, and looking at a satellite map confirmed they actually had a lot of paving equipment.   Jesse and his crew did a fantastic job – I’ve used them twice now and I’ve been really impressed. It’s obvious they know what they’re doing, they have top-notch equipment, and they’ve got plenty of experience. They recently did a beautiful job resurfacing my driveway, completely demoing the old area, grading, and laying down new asphalt. More recently, I needed a small patch for a plumbing issue, and they were quick, efficient, and offered a fair price. If you’re looking for asphalt work in Concord, Walnut Creek, or the surrounding areas, I definitely recommend giving Jesse and his crew a call. report abuse

  Overall, the work they did on the parking lot was really impressive – they completely turned it around considering its previous condition. However, our experience with the management team was deeply concerning. We were frankly shocked by the way they spoke to their employees, and it left a very negative impression on the entire team. Because of this, we won’t be using their services again and wouldn’t recommend them. report abuse

  Mike Sons of Apco’s quote was significantly higher than the other bids we received, almost four times as much. Ultimately, this made the process a complete waste of our time, and a more straightforward approach – simply letting us know they weren’t interested – would have been appreciated. report abuse
