  Overall, my experience with FDU’s service request team was fantastic. I needed to have my fire alarm temporarily disabled while repairs were being made to my AC unit, and they handled everything incredibly smoothly. I particularly appreciated the responsiveness of the team, especially Heather. It was really easy to reach her – she answered my calls and emails quickly, and she was very helpful in coordinating the timing of the technician’s visit and figuring out my preferred setup (whether he could stay while the repairs were done). The quote was straightforward and clear, which was a big plus since I’d never needed to request something like this before. The technician, Mitch, was also fantastic. He arrived promptly at 8 am, as scheduled, and was a really good communicator – I got his number and was able to easily message him. What really stood out was that he kindly stayed to ensure everything was safe while the alarm was off, and he let me know he'd be available to turn it back on if needed.   I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I received. The initial work was completely botched, and it took multiple attempts – involving hiring a new company – to even begin to address the problem. Throughout the entire process, it was nearly impossible to get anyone to respond to my concerns, let alone the fire department’s. Frankly, the level of support and attention was appalling and the whole experience was utterly unacceptable. I will absolutely not be using this company again. report abuse
