  “I’ve used Tom Farrell’s contracting services on three separate occasions, and the experience was quite mixed. The first two jobs – installing the outside railings – were done really well and at a fair price. However, the most recent job, installing two exterior doors and storm doors, was unfortunately very poor quality and left unfinished. I tried to get in touch with Tom about the issues, but he didn’t respond, which was particularly disappointing considering I’d been a repeat customer. While I was happy with the initial railing work, I wouldn’t recommend him based on his lack of responsiveness and the substandard work on this last project.” report abuse

  Honestly, the whole experience of buying this house was stressful, and then this roofing issue just added to it. Before we even signed, we noticed a bunch of shingles were missing due to strong winds. The seller thankfully took care of the initial repair, but just a few weeks later, we found another shingle had blown off. We have no clue when it actually came loose. The repair they did – cutting the shingle in half and gluing it back on – seemed really quick and a bit questionable. It took them over three weeks to even come back and address it, and they didn’t even respond to my question about whether they stood behind their work. To top it off, we got a bill for almost $150 after they’d supposedly fixed the problem. It just felt really rushed and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend using this company – be very cautious!” report abuse

  “The contractor was really unprofessional. He came to the house to look at the roof, but he spent most of the time asking me a lot of questions about things that had nothing to do with the job itself – it felt like he was just interrogating me.   “I was incredibly frustrated with this experience. I took a whole day off work to have some fencing measured, but the team never even showed up. It took over an hour and a half to get in touch with someone, and the explanation—that they’d just ‘turned around’ because they got tired of waiting—was completely unacceptable.” report abuse
