We especially appreciated how transparent they were, keeping us updated on every step. They were also a huge help with choosing our finishes, which really made a big difference in the final look of the home.   Working with OpenRemodel has been a really positive experience. I’ve utilized their services on two separate projects – a design-only addition to a house in East Bay in 2020, and a more recent design-and-build expansion in the Peninsula. They successfully transformed an older house into a beautiful 2600 sqft home. What really stood out was their efficiency and professionalism. They consistently delivered high-quality design work quickly and were incredibly responsive to my questions and needs. They also presented a great range of options, which helped me make informed decisions about everything from the budget and timeline to the specific design elements I wanted. I’m particularly pleased that they were able to start construction on April 1st, just as I requested, and only three days after the permit was approved – that’s a huge benefit for homeowners.   “I can’t recommend Open Remodel highly enough! From start to finish, it was a truly fantastic experience. I got quotes from several different companies, but Open Remodel was the only one that really gave me the full picture and I felt completely comfortable with Ashish. Once we finalized the contract, the team got to work, and the design process – with Ashutosh and Sweta – was brilliant. They were incredibly knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and even offered some really great ideas. They were also so flexible with their time. The permit process was surprisingly smooth, and thanks to Open Remodel’s quick work, we got approved much sooner than anticipated. They were even able to accommodate some minor changes after the initial approval. A huge thank you to Ashish and the team for that! Throughout the entire construction, Mandeep and his team did an absolutely outstanding job. They were friendly, professional, and always willing to answer my questions. Mandeep was especially helpful, even responding to my messages outside of work hours.   Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic experience with OR Homes. From start to finish, they completely transformed our dream into a beautiful new home in Saratoga. The team – Ashutosh, Shweta, Ron, Mandeep, and Ashish – were incredibly attentive and professional. They really took the time to understand our vision and needs, and expertly guided us through the entire design and permitting process, including navigating the complexities of city regulations. Their knowledge of local codes and their creative approach to problem-solving were invaluable. Throughout the build, communication was fantastic; we were always kept in the loop, and they addressed any concerns immediately. We especially appreciated how they managed the inevitable challenges that arise during construction, like weather delays, and kept us informed of any budgetary adjustments. The final result is stunning – we couldn't be happier with our new home.   “We were incredibly pleased with the work this team did for us – they really delivered a fantastic result. They handled a complete renovation, including adding extra square footage and a garage, which was a pretty involved project covering everything from designing the whole thing to getting the necessary city permits and completely redoing our roof, flooring, bathrooms, and painting. What really stood out was their expertise and professionalism. They were reasonably priced, but also incredibly knowledgeable, and they expertly guided us through the entire process, including navigating the city’s procedures and ensuring everything met today’s construction standards. They were fantastic at accommodating our requests, even working late and on weekends, and always mindful of our budget and needs.
