“We hired Ikemire Architects to help us add a room to our house, primarily because we needed a more detailed approach than our hand-drawn plans offered. We were really looking for a design that addressed some key issues like our roof and helped us narrow down our choices to minimize costs. Ben was fantastic – he really took the time to understand our needs and ideas, asking thoughtful questions and offering great solutions. He skillfully incorporated our input, and we’re thrilled with the final design. Ikemire also recommended a builder, and we’ve already met with one and are waiting for a bid. It’s still early days, of course, as we’ll really know if their efforts were successful when we get a builder on board who can deliver on our vision and budget. But so far, Ikemire has been incredibly professional and friendly, and they've been on schedule, even finishing the design for less than the initial estimate. We’ve appreciated their responsiveness and thoroughness, and we’re confident they’ll play a key role in making this project a success.”

I had a really frustrating experience with Mr. Ikemire. I scheduled an appointment with him two weeks in advance, and when I called to confirm just four days before, he completely mixed up my contact information – he had the wrong number and even my last name was incorrect. He then explained he’d been trying to reach me about a different deal, but couldn’t get through because of the wrong number. When I asked for the correct number, it was nowhere near my location. After I expressed how upset I was, he simply said, “I don’t want to work with you anyway!” and slammed the phone down. Honestly, it was the worst contractor experience I’ve ever had, and Mr. Ikemire showed absolutely no remorse. I would strongly advise anyone considering working with him to look for someone who demonstrates professionalism and respect.

“I’ve worked with Ross Ikemire and his firm on several projects – both large multi-family developments and individual homes – over my 25 years as a realtor in Dallas. Honestly, he’s consistently been the most talented and insightful architect I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with. His creativity and design sense are truly exceptional.”

“I was really impressed with this team’s work. Beyond just a nice drawing of a house, they went above and beyond by locating detailed floor plans for several of my clients’ older homes – saving us all a significant amount of money. And the best part? They did this completely free of charge. Bill Nelson, Highland Village”

Ross was a real pleasure to work with – he was always quick to respond and genuinely helpful with any questions I had.

Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on the text “Small architectural office doing residential work”: “This architectural office appears to be a nimble and focused operation, specializing in residential design. Given their small size and dedicated focus on homes, they likely possess a deep understanding of the specific needs and aesthetic preferences of homeowners. It’s clear they’re building a strong reputation within the residential market.”
