“We hired Ikemire Architects to help us add an extension to our house, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience so far. We were really struggling to move forward with our plans – we had some hand-drawn sketches and needed a professional design to address issues like the roof and really nail down our priorities. Ben from Ikemire Architects was fantastic. He took the time to understand our situation, listened carefully to our ideas, and asked really insightful questions. He offered some great solutions and worked really well incorporating our feedback. We were especially pleased that they recommended some reliable building contractors to us – we’ve already met with one and are awaiting a bid. They’ve been incredibly professional and friendly, keeping us on schedule and even managed to complete the project under budget! It’s clear they’ve done their research and we've been equally diligent in responding to their questions. Now, it all comes down to finding a builder who’s willing to work with our design and meet our budget. But so far, Ikemire Architects have set us up for a really positive outcome.”

I had a really frustrating experience with Mr. Ikemire. I scheduled an appointment with him two weeks beforehand, and when I called to confirm just four days before, he completely messed up my information – he had the wrong phone number and even my last name was incorrect. He then claimed he’d been trying to reach me about a different deal, blaming the wrong number. When I asked for the correct number, it was nowhere near my area. After I expressed how upset I was, he simply said he didn’t want to work with me and slammed the phone down. Honestly, it was the worst contractor experience I’ve ever had, and his behavior was completely unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering working with him to look for a contractor who operates with professionalism and respect.

“I wholeheartedly recommend the Ross and Ikemire team. A friend who specializes in the luxury market here in DFW suggested them, and I truly enjoyed our collaboration – they really helped bring my vision for my home to life.”

“I’ve worked with Ross Ikemire and his firm on numerous projects – both large multi-family developments and individual homes – over my 25 years as a realtor in Dallas. Honestly, he’s the most talented architect I’ve ever had the pleasure of collaborating with. His creative vision and design work are truly exceptional.”

“I was really impressed with this team’s work. Not only did they create a lovely drawing of the house, but they went above and beyond by locating detailed floor plans for several of my clients’ older homes – saving us all a significant amount of money. And the best part? They did this completely free of charge! Bill Nelson, Highland Village”

Ross is a really helpful and approachable team member – he consistently gets back to us quickly with the information we need.

Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on the information “Small architectural office doing residential work”: “This architectural office appears to be a focused and nimble operation, specializing in residential projects. As a smaller firm, they likely offer a personalized approach and can be responsive to client needs. Their concentration on residential work suggests a strong understanding of domestic design and building standards. It would be interesting to learn more about their design philosophy and experience within the residential sector.”
