Honestly, I’d been completely let down by several large firms – they just seemed to brush me off and weren’t really interested in understanding my needs. Then I contacted Meekins, and it was a completely different experience. The owner personally got involved with my feasibility study, and he didn’t just provide the information; he offered incredibly valuable insights that completely averted a lot of potential problems.   WL Meekins was fantastic – really responsive and got our site plan done quickly. I went with them based on the good reviews I’d seen online, and they definitely lived up to the hype. We were so lucky they were able to squeeze us in within a week, even though we didn’t formally schedule a survey. If we’d booked an appointment, it would have taken about 1.5 months!   Overall, my experience with WL Meekins, Inc. was really disappointing. I hired them to mark my property lines, which was a necessary step since I’d recently moved and wasn’t entirely clear on where my boundaries were. They arrived while I was out, and while I understood they’d discussed the job with me beforehand, they proceeded to stake out most of the markers in my backyard, away from my house and the property lines I actually needed. A year later, I’m still dealing with issues because of this – my neighbors’ contractors keep coming onto my property due to the inaccurate staking. I wish I’d been more involved in the process; I would have insisted on being present when they started the work to make sure they were actually marking the boundaries as I requested, especially considering I paid over $900 for the service. I definitely wouldn’t have hired them again without being there to oversee the job. report abuse
