  GLE did an absolutely fantastic job with my backyard excavation. They were incredibly skilled at handling the challenging project, efficiently removing everything and bringing in top-quality materials. I really appreciated how responsive and professional they were, always happy to answer my questions and keep me informed.   “I had a really awful experience with this guy. The first half of the job went okay, but after I paid for the second half, he completely disappeared. He never showed up to finish the work and I had to actually threaten legal action just to get my money back. Honestly, he was a terrible contractor. I wouldn’t use him even if he was offering a huge discount. It’s frustrating because he initially said he’d be back within four weeks after the previous year’s flood, but I waited six weeks and then, the very week he promised it was ready, the ground was still too wet. I ended up having to hire a different company, who did a fantastic job.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. They caused damage to my property and, frankly, haven’t responded to any of my attempts to contact them. It took a year and ultimately going through legal channels to finally get them to take the issue seriously. I’m seriously considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and strongly advise against hiring them – they don’t seem to uphold any standards of service. report abuse
