  “I had a plumber recommended through a friend’s family, and Ben was the name. I scheduled an appointment with him for the next day at 4:30 pm, but he canceled last minute because his brother was involved in a dispute with Ben. It was incredibly unprofessional—essentially moonlighting as a competitor and then canceling on a customer like that. To top it off, RJ Mehrman & Sons were the only ones who could send someone out, and they weren't able to get anyone available until the end of the week. Honestly, it was a really frustrating experience, and Ben’s handling of the situation was completely unacceptable.” report abuse

  I was really disappointed with my experience working with Mehrman. The initial visit went well, which is why I hired them for a second job. However, it took nearly two months to complete some very basic repairs, and they completely vanished without communicating with me. When the work was finally finished, the bill was shockingly high – far beyond what the job actually cost. They tried to justify the expense with trips to Menards, which felt completely unnecessary and shouldn’t have added to the price. Adding to the frustration, when I tried to discuss the bill, the contractor was incredibly defensive and argumentative, providing terrible customer service. I wouldn’t recommend using their services again. report abuse
