  Dan and his team at Summit did a fantastic job with our home’s insulation. My wife and I met Dan at the Timonium Home Show and were really impressed with his demonstration, so we scheduled a consultation and then a project. When the crew, led by Chris, arrived at our house, they were incredibly polite and professional. They did a thorough job insulating our 100+ year old home, and honestly, you couldn't even tell they’d been there – they cleaned up perfectly!   “We recently had Summit Insulation do some work on our 1959 home in Baltimore County, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! They completely re-insulated our exterior walls and attic with foam insulation last December.   “Summit did a decent job overall, but there were definitely some issues that needed addressing. They initially informed me they couldn’t use the proper domes for my recessed lights and only managed to seal around the bases of the fixtures, plus they completed the insulation in the bathroom floor and walls. However, when I inspected the work myself, I found that the floor insulation was incomplete and some of the lights in the attic weren’t sealed properly. The owner explained he didn't have the right domes, but after I pointed it out, they came back and fully corrected the work, including sealing all the lights and properly insulating the floor. Honestly, if I hadn't checked the work, it would have gone unnoticed.” report abuse

  “I initially contacted Summit after seeing them at the Parkville fair. They reached out, scheduled a home consultation, and I was mainly interested in just getting my attic insulated. However, the representative really pushed for their system of drilling holes to create a flow of insulation – which seemed a bit much. The quote they gave me was quite high, but I was willing to discuss it. They initially asked for a $100 home energy audit, which I paid for, but I’ve yet to hear back from them at all, even six months later.” report abuse
