  I was really let down by my experience with College Works painting my house. While the team was friendly and seemed eager to please, the quality of the work was just not up to par. They relied heavily on me to identify problems and touch-ups, which felt incredibly frustrating—it felt like I was being asked to nitpick a job they hadn't fully completed. Despite paying for two coats of their premium paint, I still had to point out multiple areas needing additional coats. They also did a terrible job with the taping, allowing paint to bleed through in several places. To top it off, they left my garden hose running all night after washing their equipment. But the most concerning thing was when I asked them to dispose of the paint water properly – they ended up pouring it on my lawn and near my apple trees, which resulted in two dead patches in my lawn and the death of one of my trees! When I brought these serious issues to the manager’s attention, I just got a vague "Sorry about that," which was completely unacceptable. Honestly, I would strongly advise anyone considering hiring College Works for a painting job to think twice. The poor workmanship, lack of care, and frankly, the damage they caused to my property, have made for a truly awful experience. report abuse

  Overall, we were really pleased with College Works Painting this summer. From the very beginning, the painter who contacted us door-to-door was fantastic, and the crew leader was incredibly responsive and polite when we discussed the quote. We had to delay our decision, but when we got back to it six weeks later, the crew leader continued to be a pleasure to work with – friendly, professional, and really attentive. They handled some unique aspects of our job, like staining the gazebo, with a great attitude. The work itself was done quickly and to a high standard, and they even took care of a couple of small touch-ups afterward. report abuse

  Overall, Tommy and his crew did a fantastic job with our home’s exterior trim and front door. Tommy was incredibly responsive and responsible, and he really went above and beyond to ensure we were completely happy with the work. The team was polite and did a thorough job, though we did need to point out a few minor messes they’d made in the landscaping – they took care of it the following day, so it was quickly resolved. report abuse
