  “Kevin and Alex did a fantastic job with the plumbing work in my kitchen and powder room. They were really efficient and professional, handling the faucets, toilet, soap dispenser, instant hot water heater, and even adjusting the water settings for my dishwasher and fridge. They also proactively addressed a couple of unexpected issues that arose, and I really appreciated how they left the whole area spotless when they were finished.   I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with Abbott’s Plumbing. About a year and a half ago, Eric Coates came to my home to fix a clogged drain, and he ended up bypassing the original pipe and installing a smaller 1/2 HP disposal – a significant downgrade from my existing 3/4 HP unit. The whole process took nearly four hours and he seemed frustrated. Recently, I discovered water in my basement originating from the new disposal system. It turned out the new pipes were too short and wouldn’t stay connected, likely due to vibration. When I contacted Abbott’s, Eric Coates was dismissive and didn’t seem to acknowledge the issues stemming from his previous work. The new technician simply reinstalled a few washers, a fix that took less than ten minutes. I was charged $125 for this simple repair, and I feel completely misled. Eric Coates didn’t accurately reflect the work he’d done on the original invoice, and the manager ultimately supported him. Honestly, the entire situation felt dishonest, and I’m left feeling like I wasn’t valued as a customer. I would have been a loyal customer for life if Abbott’s had handled this properly. report abuse

  Abbott’s Plumbing has earned a fantastic reputation for expertly handling well repairs, and it’s easy to see why. I’ve used them twice now, and both times the plumbers were incredibly knowledgeable and courteous. They really knew their stuff, and Tim, the service manager, was particularly helpful – he patiently handled a warranty repair last time. If you need well work done, Abbott’s is definitely the company to call. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. My neighbors hired them to replace their sewer line, and unfortunately, it caused a huge problem for me. The work took over a week, and during that time, they damaged my main water line, flooding my basement. The foreman’s “fix” was completely inadequate. Even worse, several months later, a heavy rain caused water to gush into my basement through the same damaged line. They sent the same foreman back, who, frankly, was incredibly unprofessional – he smelled strongly of a brewery when he arrived. Because of their shoddy work, I’ve had to completely remodel my basement, and I’ve experienced multiple instances of groundwater intrusion since. I’ve lived in this house for over ten years and have never had issues like this before. Honestly, their work and level of professionalism are unacceptable, and I strongly advise anyone considering using this company to think very carefully about it. report abuse

  Chuck did a fantastic job with the plumbing – he was really honest, professional, and did a great job overall. Plus, he was so friendly and patient with my kids and even my pet! He took the time to explain everything he was doing, which I really appreciated. report abuse
