  Overall, my experience with Avalon Builders was really disappointing. I hired them specifically to remove the window in my shower as part of a bathroom addition – that was the core reason for the project. However, Robert, the main contractor, seemed to take on too many jobs simultaneously, often forgetting previously agreed-upon details. This resulted in significant delays; they’d complete a small part of the work and then disappear for weeks before returning to finish the rest. While the two main workers were incredibly polite and respectful, the lack of consistent progress and Robert’s apparent disorganization caused a huge problem. It felt like he wasn't fully committed to getting the job done properly, and I honestly felt taken advantage of, particularly as a woman, because it seemed his primary concern was simply collecting a paycheck. I’ve attached a photo to illustrate the issue with the window remaining in the shower – it’s just one example of the problems I encountered. report abuse
