I brought in a hydraulic shock/damper, a part not specifically for a Caterpillar engine compartment lid, and the staff – Tom and an older gentleman – were completely uninterested in assisting me. They insisted we needed the Caterpillar part number before they could even look at the issue, and they offered no helpful guidance or alternative solutions. Honestly, the lack of support was concerning, and I worry that Caterpillar isn’t aware of this level of service.” report abuse
