    “My experience with HERC Rentals was incredibly frustrating. I’d scheduled a return pickup 24 hours in advance, but they completely failed to show up. When I tried to reschedule, the representative was dismissive and made belittling remarks, essentially blaming me for the issue. Despite giving them ample notice and having a workable alternative time slot, they insisted it was my responsibility to simply be available. It felt like they weren't willing to cooperate at all. Ultimately, I had to drop off the equipment myself to avoid further charges. I strongly advise against using HERC Rentals – it was a really poor experience.” report abuse

    “Overall, this was a really frustrating experience for the Coffin-Gerry PTO in Marblehead. They made a reservation for a light tower well in advance of their annual Halloween event, and they had a deposit secured. Unfortunately, just days before the event, they were told the reservation had been lost due to a computer system issue. United Rentals wasn’t willing to be flexible and fulfill the original booking – a huge problem considering the impact on hundreds of children who were looking forward to the event. Thankfully, they were able to find an alternative vendor at the last minute. However, it was a major disappointment, especially coming from a company like United Rentals. It highlighted a significant issue with their online reservation system and web presence; in 2017, reliable online booking systems are standard, and United Rentals needs to ensure their system is functioning properly and integrated effectively.” report abuse
